TV Review: Watchmen!

Damon Lindelof took the sacred text of Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons and not only breathed new life into it, he also cast the whole original text in a brand new light with the additions he made with the new series. It’s not only one of the best shows of the year, I’d argue it’s THE best show of the year, and is one of the best comic book adaptations of all time. Read the rest of this entry

After a fairly successful adaptation with Zack Snyder’s 2009 film, you’d be forgiven for wondering what was left to mine from Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons’ masterwork. But Leftovers creator Damn Lindelof signed on board, with the promise to do something “unique and different” with the project, and I’d say that he’s definitely accomplished that so far.
