Finally, Miles Morales joins the main Marvel Universe. It’s a move that’s been on fans of the star of Ultimate Comics Spider-Man’s minds since he first made his debut, and now that Secret Wars is over, Brian Michael Bendis and Sara Pichelli are able to have Miles join the Avengers, Inhumans, and the OTHER Spider-Man in the all new all different Marvel Universe. While it doesn’t answer all of your questions, Spider-Man #1 still serves as an action-packed, if light, adventure for Marvel Prime’s newest hero. Read the rest of this entry

My Name Is Miles Morales

spider-man-miles-moralesFor the past few weeks, I’ve been catching up on Brian Michael Bendis’ Ultimate Comics Spider-Man in preparation for Miles Morales’ insertion into the “regular” Marvel Universe. While I’m still a little wary about having two Spider-men running around in the main Marvel Universe, I’ve been having a blast reading Miles’ adventures as he figures out a way to live up to the legacy Peter Parker left behind. 2016 Nerd Preview!

All-New, All-Different!

allnewalldifferentmarvel-138578-ede6fAs expected, Marvel has started to reveal what their universe will look like after Secret Wars wraps, and while it would be nice to finally get through an event without having what’s coming next spoiled, that’s clearly not the name of the game for the House of Ideas. However, the two images Marvel has released for their “All-New, All-Different Marvel” not-a-reboot do bring up a lot of questions, and actually lives up the title of “All-Different”.
