SPOILER FREE

This is a tough review to write. Not just because I’m not going to spoil anything plot wise about The Force Awakens, the movie that is arguably the most hyped up film of the past ten years, but also because of just how much love I have for Star Wars. So, if you’re skeptical at all about JJ Abrams’ revival of the beloved franchise, take the fact that I’ve worn a different Star Wars shirt each day of this week while I waited for today as your “grain of salt”. But I honestly feel that even if I didn’t already have a deep seeded passion for the Galaxy Far, Far, Away that I’d be confident in saying this: Star Wars: The Force Awakens is a fantastic return to form for the series, and one of the best times I’ve had in the theater in a long time. “It’s True……All of It”

force-awakens-poster-new-articleCan you feel that? It’s the sound of thousands of nerds shaking in anticipation after watching the latest Star Wars trailer. Plus, to add insult to injury, this entry in the series was committing a cardinal sin and receiving a PG-13 rating, an act that almost made me not see it in theaters (seriously, my twitter rant about it is easy to find). That image, my friends, is the official cast of Star Wars: Episode VII. The Passing of the Whip

RaidersPoster_largeThe latest Disney Lucasfilm rumor has hit the interwebs, and it’s a doozy. No, it has nothing to do with that galaxy far, far away. This latest rumor has more to do with a certain Nazi-punching, whip cracking, treasure hunting badass, who happens to be one of my childhood heroes. Yes, the latest rumors of a restarted franchise center on the one and only Indiana Jones.

Surprising no one, Disney is looking to restart the Indiana Jones film series. While we’ve known the Harrison Ford wants to do another one, the most recent rumors go in the complete opposite of what we were all expecting. Disney is rumored to be looking to make a new Indiana Jones film…without Harrison Ford. Read the rest of this entry
